Driver-Prep.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website driver-prep.com. This page tells you about our policies on the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name / username
• Name, email address and message content submitted through our contact form
• Payment transaction identifiers (we do not store card numbers; payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal)
• IP address and browser information (collected automatically by WordPress)
• Usage data about how the site is used: pages opened, scroll depth, buttons clicked, practice test activity and time spent on each page (see section 6)

Email addresses you type into our forms (practice test result, waiting list, contact) are stored and used only for that purpose.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To process payments and give you access to the content you bought
• To send transactional emails (account creation, password reset)
• To respond to support requests and contact form messages
• To prevent fraud and keep the service secure
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and PayPal Holdings, Inc. We do not store your credit card or bank account information. We recommend that you review their privacy policies at stripe.com/privacy and paypal.com/privacy.

4. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it by writing to the email address below.

5. Cookies

We use the essential cookies WordPress needs to work (session, login). The site uses Google Analytics (_ga cookie) to see anonymous, aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, general traffic patterns) and may use Google Ads conversion measurement.

If you open a friend’s referral link, we store a small cookie, dp_ref, for 30 days. It holds only your friend’s 6-character code, nothing about you, and it is used only to add the referral bonus days when you buy.

6. Usage analytics

To see which parts of the site are useful and where people get stuck, we record basic usage events on our own server: pages opened, scroll depth, which buttons are clicked, practice test starts and results, and time spent on each page.

These events are grouped under a random identifier kept in your browser’s session storage. It is not a cookie, it contains nothing about you, and it is erased when you close the tab. We do not store your IP address with these events, only a one-way hash of it whose salt changes every day; we do not use it to link records from different days. We do not use this data to identify you and we do not share it. These records are deleted automatically after 180 days.

7. Third-party services

Our site is hosted on IONOS. The site may load resources from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Your rights

9. Children’s privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will tell you about significant changes by posting the new policy on this page.
